51 wines. Five judges. One completely blind tasting.

On August 27, 2026, a five-member judging panel gathered at Siris Tasting Room in downtown St. Catharines to taste 51 Niagara Cabernet Francs completely blind.

The labels, wineries, prices and reputations were hidden. Each wine was evaluated individually, and the combined results determined Niagara’s inaugural Top 10 Cabernet Francs.

The complete results will be revealed here September 23, including all ten winning wines, bottle photographs, winery prices and links to the producers.

We’ll also reveal the winner of the People’s Choice Award, selected later that evening by members of the public.
